Do more with job duration
Agents can specify an estimated job duration (aka. wrench time) which represents the effort required to complete a planned job. The estimated duration can also be re-specified at the time of creating asset or location job plans.
Using the Operations Planner, agents can visibly manage and plan maintenance work (jobs) as the Planner now reports the duration of work for a day/week.
A single job for multiple assets or areas
It is possible to create location/asset reactive and planned jobs so that a job references multiple areas/assets. Useful for soft services such as cleaning, it often makes sense to raise jobs for a collection or areas to clean, thus reducing the number of jobs your staff need to manage in the field.
Showing a regular job plan where the generated jobs can reference more than one asset.
Job plan & work order wizards
When creating location and asset work orders (reactive jobs), agents can re-specify the job’s priority and contract/slow SLA times.
When creating location and asset job plans (planned jobs), agents can re-specify the job’s priority and estimated duration. These parameters can also be changed at anytime during the life of the job plan.
Raising jobs onsite
Field agents can raise new jobs from their current job within the Workforce application, and if applicable specifying area(s) or asset(s) for the new job.
Likewise, area(s) or asset(s) can be specified when raising a job from a work instruction’s checklist. For example, the agent is checking or auditing a list of assets and requires another job that is related to the task they are checking.
New job plan importers
In order to speed up the creation of job plans, the Urbanise platform introduces two new job plan importers where agents can now import asset and location job plans. The importers support the same functionality that is provided via the Operator portal job plan wizards.

Import new jobs
This update also introduces a new importer to rapidly upload Job Templates into the platform.
Specify the area of a location for callouts
Operators and customers can specify the location’s area when raising new callouts.
Job summaries support questionnaires and site survey data
Work instruction tasks can be treated solely to collect user input text, so that a task does not need to be scored or marked pass/fail. The resultant order/job summary will report field agent comments, regardless of the task’s score or state. This is useful for jobs that have questionnaires or for site survey forms where information is to be collected.
Upload evidence on work instruction tasks
Field agents can upload photos to a job’s work instruction tasks. These are visible as supporting evidence on the order/job summary reports.
Daily planned jobs
Daily location and asset job plans do not need to nominate a regular calendar appointment, instead agents specify the days of the week for the job and that’s it.
Other changes
Operator agents can filter the list of work instructions
New tag management screens to view, update and delete various tags, including asset, skill, location and area tags
Mobile workforce appointments for “TOMORROW” expanded to show appointments for the “Next 7 days”
